INTRODUCTION

Human being’s exfoliated cells, although mostly are keratinocyte and cell nucleus have been degraded, in the case of sweating a lot and objects have tight touch/friction with skin, there will still retain a certain amount of nucleated epithelial cells, which are the main source of TOUCH DNA and can be used for DNA search and extraction.

Touch DNA, also know as Trace DNA, is a forensic method for analysing DNA left at the scene of a crime, it only requires very small samples, for example from the skin cells left on an object after it has been touched or casually handled, or from footprints. Touch DNA analysis only requires several cells from the outermost layer of human skin.

The system uses UV-VIS-IR spectrums to search and visualized extract TOUCH DNA for evidence materials collected from crime scene. Especially for the trace DNA that are invisible to naked eyes and hidden in the complex and diverse objects, they have different characteristics of absorption or reflection when different objects working with different spectrums.Working with special spectrums, trace DNA and dust impurities have different effects of absorption, reflection or fluorescence, generating contrasts and showing fluorescent TOUCH DNA. Aiming at TOUCH DNA that the system can directly zooms in, takes photos, and supports extraction for DNA testing.

OR-GDNA1000 System is a professional equipment supporting for forensic trace DNA extracting, special optical imaging technology, designed with larger depth of field(DOF), high mltiplying power optical magnification imaging technology, optical lens magnifying power(40-500Magnification), Max. field of view could be 8mm, Min. Field of view could be 1.5mm, build-in special spectrums to excite trace DNA fluorescence.

The system comes with specialized designed high object distance microscopic effects, integrating multipath combined wavelength light source, CMOS camera and touch screen. Working for excitation flurescence of TOUCH DNA, blood stain, semen stain stain, saliva stain etc, which will be visualized in viewing screen.
